Exhibition 2010 - Threads of Life
The title comes from a book published over a hundred years ago on the simple and poetic life in the Russian countryside of how a father sows handfuls of flax seed over the field and a little boy sees the flax growing, changing, spinning the thread to make cloth by hand until one morning he wakes to find a marvellous shirt of linen on the end of his bed.
