Library

The Guild has a comprehensive library of embroidery, textile and design books, charts and magazines, which are available for loan to and/or reference by Guild members and other students by arrangement.
Opening Hours Monday to Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm The Library is open to Guild members during Guild office hours as above. The library is also available for use by participants of all classes, workshops and stitching group meetings when accompanied by the convenor of the group. Loan Procedures Borrowing Take the Loan Card from the pocket in the back of the book, journal or other. Print your full name in the first column (no signatures please) and today's date in the second column on the card. Write today's date on the Date Slip in the back of the book, journal or other. Place the Loan Card in the box labeled LOANS and pay the loan fee of 20c per item per month borrowed. Items are due for return one month from the date you write on the Date Slip and Loan Card. Returns All borrowed items to be returned together and as close to the due date as possible. Returns can be left in the box provided outside the Library. Reservations Reserve an item currently on loan by completing a Reservation Request form. Leave the form and the 50c fee in the box provided. Contact will be made when the item is available for loan. Reserved items can be collected from the Reserved Books for Collection box on the bookshelf behind the Librarian's desk. Librarian: Margaret Leahy |
