JEMS is designed specifically so boys and girls can meet other young people passionate about embroidery. It gives you the chance to explore the fun and creativity of needlework with people your own age. JEMS caters for young people from 8 years old.

The JEMS Certificate Course includes twenty projects giving an introduction to a number of styles of embroidery. Projects are completed according to your own pace and ability without deadlines or pressure. Each JEMS member has the freedom to choose their own colours and design elements in many of the course projects.

Fun projects which are not part of the course are also included at various times throughout the year, as well as a Christmas project at the last session of each year.

All materials are included in your JEMS membership fee.

Sessions are from 1.00pm – 3.00pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month (not each fortnight).
