Mount Gambier Branch

Mount Gambier is located in the South East Coast of South Australia, or the Limestone Coast. It is home to the iconic Blue Lake and a prime source of the forest and dairy industry. Also nearby is the heart of the lobster & fishing industry, Port MacDonald.

About Us

The branch begun in 1970 and in the early days the members met at the founder’s house on a Monday, once a month. One of the original members is still stitching to this day.

They celebrated their 40th birthday lunch in 2010, 52 past and present members attended and much fun was had by all.

Our 16 members currently attend the branch on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. On the 1st Monday we have a general stitching day and on the 3rd we have a meeting and stitching day.

Beginning this year, there will be a night group meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, at various members homes, please contact the secretary to attend.
