Flinders Branch

The Flinders Ranges are the largest mountain range in South Australia, which starts about 200 km  north of Adelaide.
Renowned for its spectacular hills and ranges, the flinders is a fantastic place to visit and an epic place to stay.
Whether you’re marvelling over the Lake Eyre, South Australia’s largest salt lake, searching for opals in Coober Pedy or exploring the regions many hills and peaks, the flinders is the place to be.

About us

The branch first began back in 1980 with 17 members in their first year, one of which remains a current member to this day.  We are currently celebrating our 37th year. We have 12 current members from all around the Flinders region, including 2 ladies still going strong into their 90’s.

They meet on the first and third Monday of the month unless it is a public holiday at the Laura R.S.L. rooms from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Please bring your own lunch, microwave and facilities available and air-conditioning. Cafe available across the street.

Herbert St, Laura

The branch presents a embroidery exhibition every two years at the Laura Folk Fair in early April.
The next exhibition is scheduled for April 2018.
